Onkyo Sotec C204 Notebook Series. All of the 10-inch models are powered by Intel’s 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU on an Intel 945GSE Express mainboard and have 1GB of RAM. Relatively rare in the category, each uses a 32GB solid-state drive as standard rather than the rotating disks or smaller solid-state drives of rivals. Making the choice lets Onkyo drop the weight to just 2.1 pounds and slim the notebooks down to 0.9 inches thick.

Wi-Fi is integrated, as is a 1.3–megapixel camera. VGA video output and Ethernet connection come via a USB adapter. The C204 netbooks will begin shipping at the end of May in Japan, with prices starting at the equivalent of $530 with tax included.
