2008 Benelli BX570 Motard

Benelli has not announced its 2009 supermotard. We only know information about 2008 model. Let’s see it!

2008 Benelli BX570 Motard has a 569 cc engine, single cylinder, 4 stroke, liquid cooled, 4 titanium valves, double overhead camshaft, with balancer shaft, and high compression ratio= 12.5:1. Its engine produces 61 hp (45 kW) @ 8500 rpm of power and 50 Nm @ 5.700 rpm of torque.
Engine feeded by electronic fuel injection with throttle body ø48 mm. Engine performance is also suppoted by exhaust system with catalytic converter and oxigen sensor.
Chassis is made from single tube cradle with forged, casted and extruded elements and carbon structural part patented.A light alloy rear subframe as chassis element.Meanwhile ø50 mm upside-down fork, with hydraulic extension and compression adjustments and aluminum casted swingarm, progressive rear dumper completely adjustable in extension, compression and spring preloadacts gives beautiful handling while cornering.

Braking performance uses a single floating disk ø320 mm with 4 pistons radial caliper on the front and single disk ø220 mm with single piston floating at rear.
