Uno concept bike was created by Ben Gulak. An incoming member of the MIT Class of 2012 designed his concept bike uniquely just like space vehicle floatting in the air. The Uno concept is consist of two wheels mounted side by side closely together. It looks like one wheeled bike from side angle. Balancing the Uno is an computerized control system just similar to the Segway personal transporter. Uno concept bike is powered by electric motors. There is no yet information wheter Uno will be an massive production or not.
To operate Uno is so simple that it needs no controls at all just the on-off switch. Once it’s on, the driver speeds up by leaning forward, stops by leaning back, and steers by leaning to the side. The rider can balance in one spot just by sitting upright.
Uno concept bike was built use Yamaha R1’s frame which is wider than most motorcycles to accomodate side-by-side wheels. The constructing was done by Gulak at a motorcycle shop just outside Toronto.
