The handset does not package any out of the box features and is meant for users who don’t wish to spend much on a mobile phone, reports Unwired View. The latest slider phone boasts a 2.1-inch TFT display with 262k colors and offers 176 x 220 pixels resolution. The S3100 provides Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity. The entry level mobile phone also incorporates an MP3 player.
Reportedly, the slider phone measures 95mm x 47mm x 14.9 mm and weighs around 99.2 grams. The Samsung mobile phone sports a 1.3 megapixel camera and is equipped with Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. Users can now enjoy browsing by means of NetFront 3.5 Web browser and it also offers Email support. The S3100 handset is equipped with MicroSD card slot and an 800 mAh battery. The device offers an impressive talktime of up to 530 minutes and a standby time of around 490 hours.
The pricing and the availability details of the Samsung S3100 are not yet revealed. However, it seems that the entry level slider from Samsung would be reasonably priced.
