LG GM730 5MP camera phone

GM730 3 inch Smartphone which was showcased in the GSMA World Mobile Congress, 2009, held last month in Barcelona, Spain, came as a big surprise to the world. No points for guessing, but this is the first LG smartphone to feature the Windows operating system. Not just that, this mobile phone is the first to run on the Windows Mobile 6.5 platform, the latest version of the Microsoft mobile phone OS. This phone also implements LG’s 3D S-Class touch user interface, which offers great convenience to operate the phone’s touch screen with a finger. This 3? touch sensitive display presents a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels and is quite large too. The CPU consists of the 528MHz MSM7201a processor. Another interesting aspect of this cell phone is the 5 Megapixel Camera that is incorporated in it. This camera has auto-focus and features Schneider Kreuznach optics. Video shooting is supported as well. There is a G-sensor built into this hand-set to change display orientation with rotation of the phone.

A feature called the Chat on Map service, lets you interact with family and friends through text messages, emails and chat, while also enabling you to determine their location and your own too. Taking a look at the networking capabilities, this device supports quad-band GSM, EDGE and 3G. The Internet Explorer 6.0 is featured as well. Bluetooth compatibility is offered too. There is also an FM radio integrated into this device. Slim, compact with rounded edges, this smartphone measures 110mm x 57mm x 12mm. The user friendly and elegant LG GM730 5MP Camera Mobile Phone, is expected to make its way to the market during the first half of this year.
