Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS

The Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS digital camera is a 10 megapixel upgrade to Kodak's 8 megapixel Z812 IS model. The Z1012 IS couples a 10.1 megapixel, 1/2.33" CCD with an optically stabilized 12x zoom lens, 2.5" 230K pixel LCD display, and a high resolution 202K pixel electronic viewfinder.

Other Kodak Z1012 features include high ISO sensitivity to a maximum of 3200 equivalent (at a reduced resolution of 3.1 megapixels), face detection, smart scene mode, aperture priority, shutter priority and full manual shooting, and a HD video mode (1280 × 720 pixels) with 30 frames per second shooting. The Kodak Z1012IS has a stereo microphone as well.

Kodak offers a number of options to power the EasyShare Z1012 IS: Lithium CRV3 disposable, Kodak KLIC-8000 Li-ion rechargeable, 2 AA lithium batteries, an AC adapter or camera dock. The Z1012 stores its images and movies on SD/SDHC cards or in 32MB of internal memory. Images from the Kodak Z1012 IS can be viewed on your HDTV using the optional Kodak EasyShare HDTV Dock.

The Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS ships in the first half of 2008, priced at about US$300.
