Seems like every laptop is after the title “world’s most powerful” these days. Way back in 2005 the title was held by CompAmerica’s Orca 9098 and several lappys have battled for the title ever since and today it seems a new contender has now entered the ring.Maingear is now rolling out the new “World’s most powerful gaming laptop” in the form of the Maingaer eX-L 18 which spsorts twin NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M graphics, an undisclosed Intel Core 2 Dou Extreme CPU, up to 3 2.5 inch SATA or SSDs, and up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM.
The Maingear eX-L 18 also sports a large 18.4 inch display and optional Blu-ray drive and can be gained for somewhere around $3000.
